it’s official. jeromy and i got hitched yesterday. i’m so happy to have the guy of my dreams as my hubby. the ceremony was awesome and i’m touched by the letter jeromy wrote me. (and somehow, i made it through my letter to him without totally collapsing into tears). the reception was fun and the food was good (or so i was told). i didn’t get to visit with people as much as i would have liked, but i guess that is how it goes. jeromy looked completely awesome. i’m sure there will be pics up before too long. i’m dying to see our photographer’s pictures… i’m sure they’ll be rockin’. i’ll have more wedding day details to come once i get time.

jeromy and i went to a hotel last night and were planning on going to a hockey game today but will instead be cleaning toilet paper out of our tree and putting our house back together for the rest of the day. for the first time in weeks, i was feeling relaxed upon coming home and when we pulled up, we found that the front tree was tp’d… and there was a ton of paper that had blown into our cul de sac’s yards… a really great way to move in as a new neighborhood member. my vw bug got shoe polished (and she can’t be put through a car wash right now since she is out of commission) as well as the car i was borrowing from my mom. then when we walked in, we found that the house had been trashed. baby powder on every flat surface, confetti EVERYWHERE (fridge, floors, windowsills, computers, etc.), streamers, egg basket grass, yarn, cellophane… you name it. every room was hit and even some closets. we made the mistake of leaving our house key with certain individuals who were supposed to deliver our wedding gifts to the house last night. and instead, our home was hit. so… today, on a special day that we should be relaxing and enjoying each other physically (after a long long wait), hanging out, opening gifts, etc…. we’re going to be cleaning our house and chasing toilet paper down the street (trust me… i’ve been quite the sight today). i’m already on hour two of the tree and came in to cool off for a bit. the culprits decided to leave the empty toilet paper rolls all over the yard… and i’ve picked up over 20 tubes so far… so if you can imagine that much paper on a tree… you get the picture. we’re both stumped on how to get the tippy-top toilet paper out, so if anyone has any ideas, please pass them along.

once we can get the status quo back, jeromy and i look forward to spending some quality time as husband and wife. it’ll be nice to have a week off of work to kick back and get him moved in. i’m so blessed to have such a sweet and caring husband. last night will forever be a cherished memory.
