daddy brought over our wedding gift today - a brand new lawn mower! hooray! we’ve been working on unpacking gifts and organizing the house. this will continue on tomorrow, as i have been bugging jeromy for forever to help me get the office organized. also managed to stock up on groceries and clean out the fridge/pantry. we’re excited to have some fun meals to cook and prepare in all of the cute stuff we received for our wedding. we ran by crate and barrel to exchange/return some things and walked out with some fun items.
bowling tonight rocked. i don’t know what it was, but i “got it” all of a sudden. where i needed to stand, how to throw/aim… everything. i bowled the best game of my life. and granted, it was still far from being a good game by most people’s standards, but for me it was great. it’s fun to see how everyone is improving. all of jeromy’s coworkers couldn’t believe we came up for bowling night on our week off, but i don’t think they realize how good it was for us to get out of the house. to make sure that they would get the idea to not call him this week, he joked and said that we were going to mexico for our honeymoon. they played along and got us sombreros and such as wedding gifts. we wore our beads, hats, pins, etc. that they got us tonight to the bowling alley, and it was a big hit.
we’re going to mineral wells later on this week to go to a bed and breakfast. more details to come on that.
it’s late (almost midnight) so i guess i should go to bed. married life is grrrreeeeaaattt. it feels different to us… in the most positive way possible. there is a peace and calmness to it all, not to mention the added benefits. jeromy is a great husband and i know that we have many wonderful years ahead of us. it hasn’t hit us yet… i keep pinching myself and am wondering how i got so friggin’ blessed. i really am the luckiest girl alive. hope everyone is having a good night. ![]()
