the above pictures are of my teeth before i got braces. not hideous by any means, but i was self conscious. i went through countless photos tonight trying to find ones where i actually opened my mouth to smile and found that they were rare. my teeth grew in fine when i was younger. they were relatively straight… but then i had a second set of adult teeth, which complicated issues in my mouth quite a bit. the second set of adult teeth grew over the first set… and this was easily seen with my canines. by the time we pulled them, it was too late. and i had a jacked up smile as a result.

i get my braces off on the 13th. i’ve missed popcorn like crazy, so finding some will become a high priority after that. watch out orville redenbacher!
