jeromy’s been in california all week and i miss the guy.  like more than usual when one of us is out of town.  he gets back on thursday – i’ll be beyond thrilled.  i think this trip has been harder on me since we really haven’t had time to talk online or on the phone.  we’ve both been busy and when you throw in the time difference, it’s made it hard to have a conversation that lasts more than two minutes.  so i just feel funny inside without having my best friend around to chat with.  i’ve never missed anyone like this before.  stupid boys. 

i’m in the process of buying a house… i forgot what a large undertaking it all is.  i go for my loan application meeting thing tomorrow.  i’ve already done most of the paperwork – this is just to go over numbers and finalize things and all.  the inspection gets done on the house this thursday so that is good.  it’s coming along… i have to admit this is all a bit scary to me.  but it’s exciting at the same time.  i’m going to move in after it closes and then we can start moving some of jeromy’s stuff from storage over to the house and maybe even some of his belongings from his apartment that he doesn’t use as much. 

i scored some flower girl dresses this weekend.  that’s been the first sign of wedding progress in a while.  we have a cake tasting/consultation this weekend, so that should be fun.  the wedding is a little over 100 days away… crazy, huh? 

nothing else going on.  just work and more work.  photos to edit, reports to write.  blah blah blah.   

i think mom and i are going to eat dinner in the city of irving on thursday night to support the businesses staying open despite the stupid boycott being held by accion america.  we want to support the city of irving’s policy to verify whether or not people are legal citizens.  the group calling for the boycott, accion america, claims that this policy causes fear for people in the city.  but i don’t buy that… the only reason a person would need to be afraid is if they’re not supposed to be here (aka – are here illegally).  buying dinner within the city of irving may be small, but i at least wanted to show my support for the mayor and those who uphold the law with my wallet.  there’s a lot more i could probably ramble on about all of this, but you get the point.
