feels like it’s been forever since i’ve posted anything.  i’ve been trying to think of anything noteworthy that has happened lately and can’t come up with much.

early this week, i was out in the field doing a tree survey.  despite my multiple applications of deep woods off with deet, i was eaten alive by mosquitoes.  i had over 40 bites on my upper arms alone and proceeded to be miserable the days following.  it was raining both days i was out and i’m not a fan of working in wet denim.  i wound up not working yesterday and instead spent the morning/afternoon at my mom’s house.  i just hung out with her and dee dee and caught up on all the happenings.  mom’s on a kick where she wants to move to wyoming in the next couple of years.  she’s trying to sell me on the idea and get me to go with, but she has had no such luck.
didn’t do much for the july 4th holiday.  mainly relaxed.  i played some racquetball with jeromy and hambone and then saw some fireworks.  i was pleasantly surprised that the festivities weren’t rained out.  it’s been so incredibly wet all over texas.

i saw transformers with all the boys (jeromy, neo, hambone, sarge) the other night.  pretty fun little movie.  i remembered growing up with the toys and cartoon, so it was fun.

i am considering buying an iphone.  they’re super slick and i’ve been in the apple store fondling them twice now since they’ve come out.  i’ve been wanting a pda of some sort for the last couple of months and really like the idea of having a phone/pda/ipod all in one.

other than that, not too much is going on.  jeromy and i are about to go to lunch with hambone and then go shopping.  i move apartments next weekend.  i’m looking forward to living in the building down the sidewalk from jeromy.  we both think it’ll be awesome.  life continues to be great and it gets better every day.  i know there’s only better things ahead.
