last night was interesting and provoked much to stir in my head. on my way home, i was listening to a mix station and this song came on. it’s a well known song and i’ve always liked it, but the lyrics hit me today in a new way i’ve never thought of.

heh - sorry for being cryptic. it’s just that the meaning of sacrifice has been highlighted in my life. the type of passion and pure wanting conveyed in the lyrics is something i finally “get.” i’ve always thought the song was just some nice melody for the city of angels movie - but somehow, it took on a surprising parallel.
