last week, jeromy and i were watching “america’s got talent.” i’ve never watched it and to be honest, i don’t know how we even landed on the show. but there we were … cracking side comments about every contestant filing on and off the stage. but then… he comes on…
amazing. some guy names cas haley. he just happens to be a local from arlington, too. from his little intro, he seems to be an amazingly sweet person. i haven’t seen a guy bust out music like he does in forever. he’s a good reminder of what music is all about and power it has. i’m completely impressed and i hope that he goes far. i hope i can catch him in a local show – he’s got a fan.

[...] the weekend was busy. on friday night, jeromy and i went to the taste of dallas. we saw woodbelly perform (of which cas haley is part of).  they were amazingly great. as a group, they just flow and are passionate. after the show, we got a cd and had the band sign it. each one was willing to chat with us for a bit and they all seemed grateful about the recent recognition they have been receiving.
