i don’t even know what all happened yesterday – but i know i was busy the whole time.  i met up with the boys for lunch after their fishing excursion.  i don’t think the fish were biting, so we all met up at razzoo’s and enjoyed lunch together.  from there, jeromy and i dropped off some engagement pictures to a client of mine and went shopping for my office at work.  i found no artwork, but got a shelf and some organizer things.

we picked up my brother and he, jeromy, hambone, sarge, and neo and i went to go see pirates of the carribbean III.  it was a historical event for jeromy and i since we’re always late to movies and usually have to sit way up front … but yesterday, we all got there 45 minutes early and scored some great seats.  i left to go to the restroom and then to go visit the refreshment stand.  on my way into the restroom, i noticed a girl that was also heading that direction – she appeared to me to look like jeromy’s ex girlfriend … or at least like the pictures i had seen from the past (the last correspondence jeromy had with her was last september… see winkydo.net entries a, b, and c).  i did a double take – and she seemed to glance at me – i don’t know whether she knew who i was or whether she was just wondering why i was looking at her closely.  not only did we go into the restroom at the same time, but we ended up washing our hands at the same time as well… i looked over and asked her if her name was what i thought it was.  she said it was.  then i asked if she had just had a baby.  she said that she had (jeromy and i had found this out through the grapevine).  she told me some basic details about the baby and that she was still recovering from the process and such.  it seems like everyone is doing fine, though.  i wished her well and told her that i hoped that she enjoyed being a mom and we went on our way.  i stopped back by the counter to get a refill for jeromy and headed into the theater.  come to find out, she and her husband (a former friend of jeromy’s) were sitting probably about eight rows below us.  the chances of that all happening the way it did seemed crazy to me.  the movie itself was okay – not as much character development as i would have liked.

it’s been raining like crazy this weekend.  tomorrow is a holiday, which is awesome.  more sleeping in for me!
