i’m about to run off to my conference this morning.  last night, we all went out to dinner here in austin.  apparently, there was an immigration march going on right outside my hotel.  we walked outside and there were thousands and thousands of people walking down the streets.  i still don’t understand why they carry the mexican flag when they’re trying to show that they want to supposedly become american.  when i see them holding the mexico flag, it doesn’t make me sympathetic to their cause (the same goes for clogging up traffic – we were just annoyed as an end result).  i could elaborate further on my feelings, but i don’t have time… heh.

it’s been rainy and humid down here.  i do like hanging out in austin – i’m just wiped when evening comes so i haven’t been able to go out and about.  jeromy seems to be surviving las vegas, although we are both ready to come home tomorrow.
