it’s only been ten days from my last post, but it feels like weeks.  i’m really tired from being so busy, actually.  my mind has been racing with the development of a potentially big opportunity that could shift a lot of things in my life, but i might expand on that after i make a decision.  let’s just say that it’s a hard decision and i’m really having a hard time deciding what i want.

the dallas stars somehow eked out a win last night, so they are still in the playoffs.  i’m thrilled at this turn of events.  tomorrow night they’ll play here, and jeromy and i are discussing whether or not we wanna spend money on tickets.

susan’s baby shower is tomorrow.  i’m excited to see what all the baby is going to get.  i saw her nursery the other week (although i hear it’s been added to since my last visit) and it gave me goosebumps.  i’m genuinely excited for jeff and susan and can’t wait to meet the person she’s been carrying around.

last weekend, i made a diffuser per the www.abetterbouncecard.com instructions and it works well.  i’m dying to have some time to just go out and shoot pictures.  i did an engagement session last week and it went well.  the female of the pair is actually jeromy’s ex girlfriend, which one would assume would make for an awkward situation – but it was really fine.  she and her fiancé are super nice and i enjoyed the shoot with them.

i hope that i can get around to making a new red brick site soon.  i see that a lot of photographers are doing a more blog-style site in which they can frequently update with pictures.  i’m looking into potentially taking that route so that there is a better display of my abilities up that i can frequently update.  in fact, the shots that i’m getting now make the images in my current gallery look crummy.  i so need a week off just to get caught up on things and life in general.
