neo being silly hambone - with a roll in his mouth

the weekend was good - very relaxing.  jeromy was going to go out of town but opted to stay in town to get serious about finding a place to live.  it looks like he’s going to be living in the apartment next door to me in two weeks, which rocks.  i would normally be uneasy with such an arrangement, but things have been going marvelous between he and i, and we’ve been talking more and more about our future together.  i have no worries about us living super close together now.  i’ve never felt so at ease with someone and even though that level of comfort is there, i’m still excited every day to be around him.  so, he’ll be my neighbor in a matter of weeks.  we’re both tickled.  i know it will be good for him to get his own place… he’s never been out on his own like this before.

hung out with the boys (neo, hambone, jeromy) over the weekend.  jeromy’s work had a thing at the dallas stars game.  it was jeromy’s and my fourth game this season… and they lost.  jeromy has never seen them win, so i’m starting to think he’s bad luck.  i’ve at least been to a winning game a couple of years ago, so i know it’s not me.  heh.  i love to give him a hard time.  i took my d50 to the game and had my good lens on there… well, apparently it qualified as pro equipment, and they neutered my camera (as jeromy put it).  all i had left was my little 50 mm lens in my purse, so needless to say, i didn’t get any good shots at the game.  (sigh)

i had an appliance (the little metal thing glued to my tooth) come off tonight while i was at souper salad.  i keep playing with it since it’s all dangling now… barg.  i probably need to schedule an emergency appointment at the orthodontist tomorrow to get it fixed.  i have mega deadlines at work, so we’ll see how that goes.

the stars game was fun, even though i’m bad luck. too bad they took your telephoto lens away. you would have gotten great pictures of the fight.
