i’m usually late to work. despite my best intentions to get ready fast or wake up early, it just never manifests itself and i start my 25-minute commute around 7:53 a.m. most days.
but today, i got up early early and was actually on time. when these blissful occasions happen, it never fails - my supervisor is either not in the office that day or her door is closed. this phenomena seems to happen to everyone - i think there’s probably some cosmic mathematical formula that explains this situation.

but when your supervisor really does not keep close tabs on what time your coming in, this is no big deal.

true… but i still hate giving the impression like i don’t care. i like to show diligence every now and then. i wish i were more of a morning person…
