a run down of stuff so far:
- i’m doing most of my christmas shopping online this year. stuff started to come in this week at mom’s (since that’s where i’m having it all shipped) and i got to see a bunch of it this friday. i’m tickled that gifts are turning out good and can’t wait to see the rest. i bought wrapping stuff for my gifts tonight. i get so excited about getting gifts that i want to show the recipients what i found right away. the sooner i get them wrapped, the sooner the temptation to give them away early will be squelched.
- bacon met kinsey (susan’s great dane) for the first time tonight. she was a little overwhelmed, but it was good. mainly, bacon is interested in sniffing patches, the cat. she’s exhausted now.
- got an external hard drive for my computer… it will be the “hub” and backup for all my music library. the case i got for it is super sweet… it’s red. i love it. it’ll be nice to free up space on my laptop and reorganize my music so that i’m more prone to utilize my mp3 player.
- accidently cut the heck out of my pinky today. bled for forever and still hurts. didn’t realize how much a left hand pinky is used until it was rendered unusable for a good chunk of the day.
- my shelf got hung today over my couch. pics to come. it looks great - i’m thrilled. jeromy did a top notch job on hanging it… it’s level and perfect.
- i was planning to paint an accent wall in my dining room today but went to the the apartment office to get my color approved. the head guy wasn’t there, so my painting plans got delayed.
- i dyed my hair a dark auburn. but it’s hard to tell that i did anything to it unless i’m in the right light. i thought it would be a more drastic change, but that’s okay.
- dee dee had ordered me a “trim the tree” kit for my birthday but it hasn’t shipped yet and she’s still on the wait list. since i’m impatient and i want to decorate my tree right after thanksgiving, she’s going to cancel the order. jeromy and i looked at christmas tree stuff at target tonight and i don’t know what kind of theme i want to do. hopefully, i’ll get just the perfect stuff sometime this week.
- no big plans for tomorrow. church and then visiting teaching in the afternoon. i’ll probably hang with the family in the evening. we’ll see.

yea, i like the red hard drive case too. it’s slick.
the wrapping paper will go great, i know your so excited to get stuff put together for christmas…
bacon seemed to have fun tonight. her and jack got along alot better than i expected.
the shelf looks really cool. you need to get some pics so everyone can ooh and ahh.
your hair looks good. there’s a lot better light at your work, surely people will notice there.
my sunday will be full of work and nerdy things.

i kept looking at your hair last night at dinner thinking you had changed it. but just couldn’t decide. i thought maybe it was the way the light was shining on it. i didn’t say anything cause i didn’t want to offend….though, i am not sure what i would have offended. i will have to get a better look at it next time you are at the house.
and wait for thanksgiving, little miss christmas.
